BISTRO DISCO IS BACK

Same shape, same size, still lush outside in the beer garden, still pouring independent craft beer, a flash summer BISTRO menu and belting good tunes. Except now with extended seating out the front and, eventually, under the train bridge. (It's very 'Abbotsford.)

We've reopened and are taking bookings for up to 10 for Brekky and or Bistro, inside and out. Head to our BOOKINGS page and we'll guide you through.

September spit roast Sundays

Back to all news
Share this

We’re covering everything in pig fat this September— pig fat, whiskey and limited edition beers while listening to disco beneath Lucille (pictured).

Spring has returned and brought all the trimmings with her. Like our new Sundays in the beer garden: spit roast pig served banh mi style, whiskey and pig fat washed concoctions, weekly tap takeovers and CC:Disco alternating with the Jims.

Each week will see a different (craft beer) tap takeover, featuring two Australian and two international breweries.

Sunday 6: Kaiju!

What dad doesn’t want roast pig between two asian buns? You can get him drunk on whiskey while he’s at it too.

Sunday 13: Dainton Family Brewery

There’ll be dry mouths all round following Ginger’s set the night before. Come join us as we sink plenty of beetroot and carrot Marias fuelled with tequilla, sip the authentic family brews and pat puppies. Yep, it’s Wolfgang Sunday: Beers with your best friend.

Sunday 20: Omipollos hatt

Any brewery that has a magical wizard hat as their logo is a friend of ours. If you drink enough beer we reckon you might find out which Hogwarts House you belong to as well. Worth a shot.

Plus, we’ve 4 of the 8 limited edition Omipollos hatt kegs imported into the country. That’s two good reason to come along.

Sunday 27: Mikkeller

For one Sunday only the mysterious running man will be contained in our beer garden and dominating the taps. To say we’re pumped would be an understatement. But no one is as excited as Pete. He’s been warming up his hamstrings for weeks.

Pricing and the things:

– Pork Bahn Mi $12

– Pig fat washed cocktails $15

– Pig served at 1pm
